How does sublimation onto stainless steel work? always thought item had to have the white coating.

how is colour affected? all i can picture is the ink wiping off :rolleyes::biggrin:

looking for bottle openers, the credit card style, and they're stainless steel.

The item needs to be for sublimation as in it needs polymor coating. This can be white or clear but items needs to be specifically created for sublimation.

A popular coating used to be DigiCoat which is now called SubliGlaze - http://www.subliglaze.com/

I've never tried any form of coating though as I've read reports good and bad.
