Hello members - I need a little help. I am pressing some white polyester with a blue and yellow sublimation print and i have noticed that there seems to be some very minute blue specs on the shirt after pressing there on a small area out side the transfer area. I thought it was me when I was removing the transfer but now i think its occurring when I press. Im using subi sharp paper and subi ink and pressing on med to firm pressure at 190 deg C for 60 seconds. Its a Geo Nignt K20s press and its only about a month old. Ive checked the temp with my temp gun and its spot on. I use a teflon protector on the t shirt when pressing, i used a new one incase it was transfer from the teflon sheet. Is my temp too high or my pressure to low or something else?

When you say 'outside the transfer area,' do you mean completely outside of the paper, or inside the paper but outside of your image?

Little blue specs are a known issue. it's usually tiny specks of dust on the material. Best advice is to get a lint roller and use before pressing.
