My Ricoh has just run out of ink (of course...and no, they are not available in Brazil :( ) and so I will be using an Epson L355 printer for some quick Chromaluxe sheets. I am used to 200 degrees C and 75 secs for the Ricoh Gels with the press, but have no idea where to even start on temp and time with Epson inks - could someone kindly point me in the right direction? MUCH appreciated as needing to finish a rush job.
Cheers
Doug

Are the Epson inks sublimation?

Absolutely! The shop I bought them from is closed right now so was hoping for some alternative hints. Thanks!

I'd start with the same settings as your Ricoh, or the Chromaluxe suppliers settings, and do a test run. It's very unlikey you'll get a perfect print with the first one or two, you have to experiment.

Thanks Webtrekker. As the Ricoh uses gels and the Epson in water based inks, I am sure it is a shorter time - will have a few tests and see. Shame to waste expensive imported sheets, but...such is life..

It really is a shame, but alas, that's the way it goes with sublimation, there are always develpoment costs to consider until you get things just right. Hope you have some luck with your trials.
