sublimetals 0.7mm aluminium sheet is pretty firm and not too badly priced. It's what I'm using for my clocks and it works well.

I did try some cheaper sheets off ebay but they were pretty flimsy and the finish to the edges was not as nice as sublimetals - lots of burrs and sharp sections. Not good for clocks.

Thanks. I've never tried the 0.7mm from Sublimetals. I get my 0.5mm sheets from them and they are excellent, just a bit too thin for the clocks.

I've been buying cut metal sheets off an eBay seller, on the whole they seem very good for the price.

I like the chocolate one, you could try adding some purple/gold torn wrapper to it, just to break up the chocolate
