Hi

I thought I had removed all the clocks with deep and dark colours from Amazon after having to resort to a Brother printer - they just don't give the deep rich tones of Epson.

Unfortunately I forgot to remove one and it has arrived as an order :(

Can anyone give me a price on printing out the A3 art work onto sub paper and sending it to me 1st class royal mail? It will need to be shipped in an A3 hard back envelope so it's small parcel size.

should just say it needs a nice deep blue. I've added the photo to show. The bottom aluminium panel is how it should be through a Epsom, nice and rich the top one is the Brother printer. I'm sure the Brother does not have the range of gamut than an Epson. I've tried everything to make dark colours more rich and deep but it just does not want to go there. Mid range co0lours and highlights are fab with the Brother and detailing is good. It just does not want to do dark colours.

thanks,

Kevin

Would a custom ICC not help here?

Almost certainly a custom profile will sort out the issue but I only bought the Brother as a short-term measure until the new year when I can look at getting a sawgrass printer.

I don't want to spend £45 or so on getting a custom profile made for just a few days use. That said, the Brother is not a photo printer and I'm not positive it has the colour range of a Epson which is much more photo print friendly. The Brother has really good detailing in mid-range and I think is much more aimed at business drawings and sketches rather than full blown artwork.

My last order day for Christmas delivery is today and already Amazon orders have dropped of the edge because it says may come after Christmas.

If I can get the artwork printed somewhere that would be great, if not I'll just cancel the order.

arrrhhh don't worry.

Been playing with the printer to try an improve things. Deep within the advanced settings section there's a check box for match monitor.

Unchecked it and now it's printing almost as good as the Epson. A bit of tweaking with the colour settings should see me through.
