PARCEL FARCE
Sad to say that we will not be buying anything else from BMS until they change there courier from PARCEL FARCE.(typo intended)
this is the 2nd time now they they (parcel farce ) have let us down big time, and now again, will have to close over one of the busiest weekends going....cause i got bugger al coasters in to sell...and i ordered these on the wed, so plenty of time for PF 1/2 day delivery - seems not !

first time i have ever spoke to scotty @bms - superb down to earth guy lol he even arranged to send out another lot for sat delivery, and he paying for it,but
i really have doughts as to whether it will get here as well...:rolleyes:

whats the problem ? > parcel farce have sent my delivery down to the bloody london hub instead of glasgow - AGAIN !

sorry bms..but no more can i put up with this inferior courier company ( PF )..will have to use xpres and use unisub coasters, as they use DPD for the delivery service...
when you guys do change courier , i will be back over, as the customer service from JO, and scotty, is great....

so any stock i buy from ANY other company that uses PARCEL FARCE, i wont be using them - PERIOD !
lost shit load of cash here because of parcel farce this xmas period....they done the same thing with my inks from alex@inkexpress few week back...had to close as ran out totally.. that order was meant to be here on time in the fri...nope, didnt get it till the Tuesday !!..so amazon store was closed..same as now...NEVER AGAIN

and that will incl alex@inkexpress as well sadly ;(

That's hard lines, but to be honest, shouldn't you have made sure you had ample stocks in anyway at this time of year? These parcel companies are really struggling just now and mistakes do happen.

order put in on a wed should usually be here next day - paying £9.99 for the privilege !! ..but using this courier is done - period !
this has also happened in the summer as well, but i didnt bother as much as it wasnt as busy...

A little birdie told me that BMS are looking into changing to another courier (whose courier name you mentioned in your post) and in fact I spoke to Martin face-to-face last week about it.

We don't particularly like Parcel Farce either (that's my pun! ha ha) although not the fault of BMS only because the regular Parcel Farce delivery is 5pm here. So unless we pay for pre-12 or pre-10 (like we did today) then both "Next Day" delivery and "48 Hour Delivery" are both the same in terms of timescale.

Fingers crossed they do change over for various reasons.

my prob is..ordered on wed past, usually arrives here next day...ok, it does say 1/2 days so...
today i checked the tracking - the dam order has been sent to london hub for gods sake WTH

phoned the assholes (the farce) up to see wth has it been sent to london hub > er..we dont know mr woods...it "should" be with you on monday...SHOULD ? they said this the last time when alex@inkexpress sent load of inks for us, and it arrived 5 days or so later....so cant open at all on amazon..cant take the risk of getting 100's more bloody orders and bugger all stock to fire out...na na..to risky

yeh like webtrek said, i should have ordered way earlier tbh..but i have load of others things to deal with here, not just this business ;(
but that does not excuse there crappy service period !

For Express 24 delivery (ie. Next Day) you should at least be able to claim back 50% of your delivery charge (£9.99 wasn't it?) from Parcelforce.

DPD have had major issues in the last 2 weeks in terms of volumes, we've seen all sorts of random blokes with vans bring parcels, many without POD devices, just paper to sign.

From limited experience they're not alone, but they've suspended all pre-10 and Sat deliveries and are just piling though, case of can't get staff and vans quick enough I believe.

Lesson learned for this time of year; leave 3 or so days in case!

As we posted on FaceBook yesterday the snow affecting parts of the UK will cause delivery problems and I’m sure this will be particulary true for anything transiting through the Midlands. PF’s national hub is in Coventry so looking at the weather this area and travel around it looks particularly badly affected. I would have thought contingency plans have been put into place so that other sorting depots can be used which may explain why some packages are in different parts of the country at the moment and causing some delays to deliveries. I am waiting for a PF package sent Monday from.........Coventry, yep right where there depot is. at the moment no one can tell me where the parcel is, the supplier is just saying, well if its not with you in a week we will send another lot out (printer labels) but tbh, it really is not good enough. Yep PF suck, but at this time of year, and now with the UK's deadly nemesis "SNOW" we will all be b*lloxed for the run up to Christmas. Stock wise I'm fine, as Decembers stuff comes here early November, so we don't get caught short, but consumables like printer labels, I just buy in box loads as and when I need them.
