Trying to set up v small scale project sublimating mugs. The printing (Ricoh sg3110) onto sublimation paper looks right, but when mugs come out of the heat press (Freesub) after 180 secs at 180 degrees, the colours look insipid - browns come out as yellowy green, reds appear faded. I would very much appreciate advice please. Thanks in advance.

A few points to check -
1. Are your inks definitely sublimation ink?
2. Are you printing with the correct ICC profile?
3. Are your mugs definitely for sublimation?
4. Is your press definitely set to C and not F?
5.Are you absolutely sure you are printing on the correct side of the transfer paper?

Many thanks Webtrekker for taking the time. It seems it was to do with the colour matching on my Mac. Big improvement now seen. Can you explain what the C and F settings are please? Thanks again.

Just to make sure your press is not set to degrees Fahrenheit (F) if you are expecting degrees Celsius (C). For instance, 180 degrees F would only be 82 degrees C and your prints probably wouldn't even sublimate.
