Hi,
How would you expect a supplier to handle a situation when you find the mugs they sent arent holding up. After a 3/4 months when only hand washed and under normal usage, the mugs i have are scuffing and white patches appearing on the image. I have 8 mistakes in the house for our own use, one was correctly sublimated which i made as a gift. All have markings of some kind where the coating appears to be coming off. In my opinion they're not fit for purpose. Have any of you had similar issues. I have contacted the supplier via email with pics and followed up with 2 phone calls with no resopnse so far. Just thought id see how everyone else deals with this type of issue. I dont want to mention the supplier until they've been given appropriate time to address it in some manner. Just the fact ive not received a response so far has me asking this question. Thanks in advance to any replys.8

We usually need to know the supplier so we can judge if you have bought some budget ebay mugs or mugs from one of the reputable suppliers selling premium mugs? 3-4 months is a long time. Are they dishwasher safe for example?

Hi Gary,
Thanks for your reply.
They're from [company name removed], Windsor Bone China. Sorry but if i bought a mug id expext more than 3-4 months before image or text started coming off, i wouldnt be impressed. I expect a bit more life out of them than that to be honest.
To my knowledge they are dishwasher safe but as i said they're being hand washed as we dont have a dishwasher.
Probably will buy the orca coated mugs i bought the first time from Subli blanks. I just didnt like the Orca coatings stamp on the base hence why i changed to the current mugs.
Cheers

[company name removed]? Windsor Bone China? Fight tooth and nail for your money back in that case. It's a premium product. Naming the company also helps others avoid buying a suspect product likely to damage their business relationship with their returning customers.

Sorry but we are not allowed to mention or discuss that particular company for legal reasons in any shape or form so I will have to remove the reference.

Have you actually sent any of these out to customers yet, and have you had any complaints?

I did recommend implementing a swear word style auto correct!

I've been selling them at craft fairs and a couple of outlets 1 and 2 at a time. No complaints so far but a bit alarming to see the marks on the mugs at home. I state on the boxes dishwasher safe but recommended hand washing to keep them pristine. Ill just have to change mug supplier. This problem apart their service has been very good, just dont appreciate being ignored when a problem arises.
