Ok i have just brought kit to start sublimation, this is my existing business to add our logo to our products.

We are using an Epson L355
Have sublimation inks http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/100ml-Epson-S ... 2749.l2649
And the paper http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Subright-105- ... 2749.l2649

I have printed the design to go onto shiny stainless steel, I have used high gloss settings on the print preferences and have tried various temperatures from 180 all the way to 280 with small and medium pressures but nothing ever transfers!
I have made sure im printing on the glossy/sticky side of the paper, it kinds of transfers onto polyester material just a yellow circle none of the black writing in the middle.

Any tips/help ?

Is the substrate you are printing onto made for sublimation?

Also looking at those items you may want to grab a coffee and have a good read through the forum about buying cheap, ICC profiles and how sublimation works.

No, i wasn't aware with metal you needed substrate metal.

Yes Sublimation needs a polymer coating to work.

I understand its a cheap setup but whats not being mentioned is why or what the problem with the setup is.
Surely a heat press that works is as good as any other. Some guidance as to what is wrong with the setup and why it wont work is helpful in any decision making about upgrading the equipment/supplies.

I answered via PM then thought it annoys me when people answer by PM as it's an open forum.

Was I too harsh with my response of....

"Ahh now that is where research of the forum comes in, these questions have been answered in depth hence all the info is here.
In essence you are saying "Hey guys you know all that knowledge that you learned the hard way over many years and at a cost to yourselves and your businesses, then posted in this forum to help other people....well I can't be bothered to search for it."

I am out of this conversation. Having suggested in the PM to become a premium member and make use of the discounts available, I got a rather terse response to that idea. So if access to discounts, saving money, back up from the suppliers etc etc is treated with disdain I shall not bother any further. I wouldn't want to waste the OPs time after all.
