Hi all,
Is there any significant difference between the available dye sub inks, i.e. Rotech, Sublijet, Artanium?
I don't want to make the mistake of "the wrong decision".
We do 90% polyester work with a possibility of jigsaws in the future.
As I've said before, we've just bought a B1100 and are almost there for the CISS system.

Regards,
Barry.

Strictly speaking they aren't the same...

Rotech was an independant company producing sublimation ink entirely different to Sawgrass and they produced it mainly for the large format market and also for the small format market. Sawgrass eventually took them over but the formulation of the ink was originally by Rotech. Whilst the ink does the same as Artainium with the use of a profile to correct the colours it's only offered by a couple of UK based companies as Artanium is the most popular. Rotech was more popular in Europe as that's where Rotech is based.

SubliJet (as opposed to SubliJetR) is mainly used in the US and comes as a bag based CIS system. Again a couple of companies in the UK offer this, but Artainium ink (although branded differently by certain companies in the UK) is the most popular.
