Hi

I have a Hewlet Packard Designjet 2800CP 36" wide format printer for sale.

The printer comes with original stand, a part roll of plain paper, a virtually full (about 20m) roll of 36" Epson Semi Gloss Photo Paper. Spare New Magenta Ink,Printhead,Cleaner Pack. Spare Black & Yellow Ink only. The printer also comes with an external Fiery X2-CP RIP made by Xerox I believe. This gives much greater control over printer settings etc. There is also a genuine HP CP printhead storage container which holds a full set of heads and cleaners.

I bought this printer secondhand about four years ago as it was cheaper for me to buy this and produce the fifty canvases myself that I got an order for than it was to get someone else to do them for me.

Since then I have printed infrequent posters and banners.

I dont have the original cd's but do have drivers and utilities from both HP anf Fiery together with PDFs of the User Guides and Service Manual - this will be supplied on a cd with the printer.

The printer will work fine under Windows.

The printer will need to be collected from Milton Keynes and you will need a van or very large estate/people carrier to collect it as it is 62" long 20" deep and 17" high, plus the stand which is currently disassembled. I am quite happy to assist loading it into your vehicle.

I have recently carried out a printhead and nozzle check - as the printer hasnt been used for a while, hence the reason for selling, it took about half an hour for it to go through its automatic head check and maintenance program and the system test prints printed out okay after initially showing a few blocked nozzles. The black and yellow are showing Low ink but I dont like to change them until they are out.

This printer can use two different ink types - CP which is long life indoor and UV which is long life indoor or outdoor on suitable media. The printer currently has UV inks in.

I will also throw in a few canvas stretcher bars that I have kicking around.

Priced at £300 it is a very affordable way to get into Canvas printing or even poster printing etc.
