Is it a basic design without block colour?
Personally I'd use the profit from this job to set myself up with a quality press for future work.

A cheap press won't do 150 mugs in one go but thats probably not what you're going to do anyway as over 8 hours solid pressing. Justin is right, it is initially about the design. Cheap presses are not always good at stable temperature around the element so a solid print is going to be a problem. Show us the design and tell us which mug you're going to use as well.

Thank you both for getting back to me so soon and yes it is a solid design, I,m also using a white coated 11oz large handle mug, which I found on Amazon 32 mugs for £9.99. The reviews all said they seem to print ok?.. have you got any suggestions on which the best cheap mug press I could start with as this is a one off large run, but I may get more into it at a later date, as I do a lot of one off presents and designs for birthdays and special occasion..
Cheers
Steve

If you've bought 32 mugs for £9.99, then expect to be on this forum a lot once you start printing them!

That £10 would have been better spent on DSF membership! Lol

Agreed. They WILL be poor. But everyone learns the hard way. I would spend the tenner on premium membership then buy mugs off one of the sellers on here that offer DSF discount!

Hi Steves. Just be wary chap. That £9.99 deal looks very dodgy. A US company sending mugs for £2.99 to UK. Recently opened store. Sublimation mugs would not come in under 65p each for cheapy and £1 for gift shop quality coating.

Can you post a link to the box of mugs for £9.99?
