Hi all

Finally got to use the new system in anger today. Didnt help that after having it all delivered last week we were straight off to a 4 day show before I could get it all set up! Anyway got the printer up and running after a few hiccups - mainly related to my network setup and crappy laptop. Printed off some mug templates and had a test press. Have to say that I am mightily impressed with my first efforts - okay the prints are not 100% aligned quite equally from the handle (oops) but hey ho!

The print quality and colours are way better than I expected for my 1st efforts!

Off to set up for another show tomorrow but when we get back its on to the t-shirts!

Which ink config did you go for? Did the supplier set it all up for you?

I went for the 8 colour photo set. I set it up for myself, they did offer, but I went for it and all seems ok - at least the results so far are pretty cool!

Just make sure you go through all head alignment checks in both upper and lower head position. Ideally you'll want a good magnifying glass for this.

Are you using Wasatch RIP?

Thanks for the tip - the head alignment was a right PITA!! Ive been using Virtuoso Print Manager so far - is there any advantages using Wasatch?

If you have an iPhone get the x60 microscope lens for a fiver off eBay :-)

Wasatch is superb, nesting is very useful if nothing else!
