Hi,

I am in need of a heat press with a flat bed able to accommodate a 24" x 14" item. I am looking at these 2 presses. Can anyone give me some feedback on them please?

I am leaning towards the transmatic at the moment, as it has a larger bed. But want to get any advice before shelling out so much money.

I and a few others on here have the A2 Pressmechs, UK made. From my experience I can't fault it.

Thanks for the info, can you tell me what kind of power supply this machine needs, and what the heat distribution is like on the plate? Can you go right out to the edges?

It runs off 240v standard mains. The platen is big enough that there is an overlap hence 24 by 14 inches isn't at the edge. Metal and wood panels print easily.

So is its just a 13amp normal mains plug?

Yep, normal 13 amp socket.

Thanks again for the replies, its all very helpful info. I dont suppose you would mind measuring the plate for me so that I can put my mind at ease on the size of its overlap?

can we back up and ask what you are actually wanting to press that's that size to give some perspective to advice that can be given?
