Hi, just a quick hello from a newbie. I am Gary and am about to join the sublimation world with a package including a VJ628 printer and A2 press. These forums have been a great resource as a lurker but thought it was time to say hi!

Dude that's some cool stuff, I didn't know what it was until I googled it. I wish I had the cash for that!

It definitely puts my Ricoh starter printer and multi heat press off eBay to shame.

Good luck with it all, it would be interesting to hear how you got into this area (I created a topic somewhere...).

That's some big investment right at the start! lol.

I have the VJ628 printer and as yet haven't spoken to anyone with one so it will be interesting to see how you get one....keep me updated. Did you buy from Xpres just down the road?

Hi Justin, thanks for the welcome! A big investment indeed! I have been researching for a while and decided to see Xpres and Novachrome at the Photography show last week for some final advice - except Xpres werent there! I havent pulled the trigger on the deal just yet but probably will later this week. Had a good run through the systems on the Novachrome stand which made me decide on theVJ628. I have been using dropship printing for the last 18 months and its just time to take more control and move away from their supply limitations. Be prepared for some stupid newbie questions!!
