Hi everyone, I am still having problems sublimating glass clocks,

I am at present cracking 1/3 of my blanks.

I am going to try to ensure that when I press the clock is in the middle of my platen.

I am printing using a old Adkins swing away clock face down, teflon sheet top and bottom.

Been suggested by a man at Longforte to use silicon sheet, where is the best place to get them and is it the same that people use for baking or is it a special one for dye sub?.

We print them on an Adkins swing away with teflon sheets too, using quite a lot of pressure but haven't had a cracking issue *touch wood*.

We use the Merlin Transfers blanks though, not the Longforte ones. May be worth you giving them a try?

I know BMS sell the thicker silicon mats.

Is the rubber mat on the base platen still nice and even and in good nick?

Not sure I will check tomorrow, can you get spares if it isn't, I have noticed that unless I put the clock central on the platen it sits at an angle. but didn't notice that until I ran out of blanks.
