Hi all,
Out of interest, when you buy new Sawgrass Inks, how many months would you expect to be left before the "use by" date?
Cheers John

Good question. Although "out of date" inks are fine (we virtually rely on them!) I would say that you should expect 6 months at least. The "Consumer Rights Act" says "It must be as described. It must be of satisfactory quality, sufficiently durable, free from any defects" and a product can be returned if deemed to be faulty within 6 months of purchase. After 6 months then it is down to the consumer to prove that the item was faulty from purchase. So in my opinion you should expect 6 months.

I ordered a new Sawgrass SG A400 with inks in January. Just checked the ink dates at the weekend as I hadn't opened it yet. 3 of them are July 17 and one is August 17.

Have had a replacement cartridge sent to us by our supplier for a blocked head issue on our SG800. He had to get new carts in as had run out and the expiry on the new one is late 2018!
