Please find attached two pics.
This is being sold relatively local to me and am about to reach out and identify if it's a deal that i should do.
Hoping for some help, any ideas on age/model/worth on this one?
Thanks in advance.

Agreed. Same as mine and a damn good press too. If its the model with interchangable plattens then it will cost more. Cant help with price though, sorry.

So i've looked at this and has some wear on the underside at the top and some breaks in the wiring - wiring is easily enough fixed.
I've been told I can have this for 400 Euros, it's a manufactured in 2005 model.
Here's the info plate:

Does the fact that this is 12 years old factor into the decision making process or should I go with my instinct and bite his hand off?

i have had this model in the past (my ex business partner scum still has it), great machine and very reliable.
Little story...
I have a slightly newer Adkins Beta (buttons are different, but that is all), the machine gets an absolute hammering as I have a contract to print 20,000+ hi vis vests a year. The machine never misses a beat and since purchase (almost 10 years ago), it has only had £300 spent on it because I dropped it! While it was in for a service I had a loan Adkins Beta which was over 20 years old. I offered to purchase that machine as it would have made a great back up, the company said sure, £500 and its yours, that is how reliable they are.

price will depend on state of pins, if buzzer works, if it has always had a spring on the back, if post has beeh helicoiled etc.
Every part is fixable ... price for working from £100 (a wreck) to £600+ is common on ebay

I have the new one and apart from the manufacturing of the machine, the design has not changed much at all. Heard the older models than mine are better.
