Hi All,

I'm using a ricoh SG3110DN Printers and Ive received error codes on both printers one states 20000 error and the other is 20230 error. Does anyone know what they are are better still how to correct them. I have been using compatible sublimation inks in them rather than sawgrass.

There would appear to be little on the internet to assist you, I think your best bet is probably to get in touch with Sawgrass if you're using Sawgrass inks, or Ricoh direct...

Yeah! I know I've spent a few hours trying to find something, I've emailed Conde's Tech Support, I'll see what they come up with. Thanks anyhow!

Absolutely nothing on the net listing Ricoh 3110dn error codes. Poor show really.

According to google a SC20000 code is the maintenance motor not in the home position. Advice is to clean the encoder strip in the machine and then power cycle. For help with maintanence codes the first port of call should be to contact the Ricoh agent that you purchased the machine from as they have they will have maintenance manuals that list all software codes. If that does not work then contact Ricoh directly.

I bought a Ricoh SG3110DN a couple of months ago and purchased compatible inks. What a waste of time. I kept getting the 20230 error and a message telling me to contact support. Sometimes the printer switched on and other times it didn't. When I did manage to get it working spent more time flushing heads than anything so I ditched it. Not sure if it was the ink. When it worked it was great but the magenta was forever clogging. I too couldn't find any help. You can only get into the menu if the printer starts and is on 'ready'

I've seen links on Google to the Service Manual that's supposed to contain a list of the error codes, but you have to pay for it (around $10 - $13 as far as I can see).
