Love_cut is seling them on ebay and I wonder if print on them look any good. I love to see picture of one of them printed.

They come up good, but you must preheat them at 60 - 80 degrees for up to 5 minutes and then press. Otherwise you can crack the base of the mug away from the thinner sides.

:o :shock: so is not very practical then :( how can you pre press 20 mugs if you have only one mug press :D

What you do is wrap the paper around the mug as normal. Put in your mug press at a temp of, say 70 degrees and leave for 5 minutes. Then increase temp to 155-160 degrees and press for a further 5 minutes. This works fine. Yes they take a long time, but any quicker will probably crack the mug. We have these frosted mugs as well as whisky glasses which have to be pressed this way.

Pretty much the same with all glass products as glass is a very poor conductor of heat so it takes longer.

btw... any good deals for mugs martin??? as I am not fancy to order new bumch of ebay so i would give yours a go as people give them thumbs up so many times...

one idea is to load your conventional oven with mugs at a set temp and press from there!

I was going to suggest pre-heating them in your oven, but I see Patrick beat me to it :lol:

The only problem I'd have with that personally is, my kitchen and my office are 2 storeys apart, so I'd be up and down the stairs more often than anything else :lol:
