Hi,

I seem to be having cartridge reset problems with my D120 today. It shows ink low, press button and it indicates all cartridges are empty. Press reset button and try again, usually all are still showing as empty or sometimes just one of them.

I've tried leaving it powered off for a few minutes then trying again. Nothing. Have my chips died? How easy are they to remove as I have another set of cartridges for this printer after I had them replaces some time ago.

Cheers

Andy

I think I've answered my own question regarding the chips. Small screwdriver carefully placed under them and they pop off. Put other set of chips on and they reset no problem.

So now it looks like the chip reset problem has gone away.

thanks

Andy

This will work fine. Sometimes a bit fiddly to prise them off, but well done!

Thanks, now to sort out the stubborn magenta and one black that wont give a perfect nozzle check.

Cheers

OK, finally found someone with the same prob as me. Ink system is brandnew and I can't reset it. Where can I get a new chip from?

Desperate. I have orders and will soon look like a right ****** and loose clients :-)
