Even though I ALWAYS use a spare mug in my press to heat it up safely, its developed a sizable bubble. Whats that about? Can this be fixed or is it bin bound?

Time to order a replacement - it is probably just about to let go.

Use fine blade to cut into bubble to let air out. It should then go down and be good to go.

Personally I'd bin it and use a new one. Crispy bubble edges might damage the blanket. Is it worth the risk for a quid?

if a spare mug costs you more than a quid... you need to shop around.

Oh lol. I meamt that I use a spare mug in my press while the press heats up. Its the press that had a bubble
