Hi all.
Anyone have any suggestions for a Free fairly simple program I could use to start out with?
I used to have an older version of CorelDraw but cannot seem to find it anymore.
I just need something to create simple t-shirt & dog tag designs.
Preferably for mac

Thanks for the help

I recommend Inkscape as a substitute for CorelDraw.

This will only run on either old 32 bit Power PC CPU architecture (10 years old plus) or early Intel processor based Macs running OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard with Rosetta emulation (included with 10.6). For newer hardware look at either CoralDraw or as a minimum Photoshop Premium Elements is available from around £50 for PC/Mac.

As with any software - check that your hardware meets the requirements for the computer that you intend to use it on.

In addition non commercial users can find CorelDraw X7 Home and student available for Windows.

OS X users can also run Windows on their Mac and therefor also CorelDraw.

GIMP uses black point compensation when "relative colorimetric" is chosen as the Display (default) rendering intent, and does not use black point compensation when "perceptual" is chosen as the Display rendering intent. (GIMP 2.9 provides a check box for black point compensation.)
