Hi

Ive just bought a mug press and I want to do aluminium bottles. I've read I need a silicone wrap? Is that right? Can anyone tell me what type and where I can buy one from please?

Thanks

you might need one if using product smaller than your clamp diameter .... it acts as padding with even pressure ... but does add to the cooking time.
If you can clamp your mugs etc with the press as is , - then you don't need one.
Only needed for smaller items if unable to adjust press to clamp them with moderate pressure

Hi. I've received my aluminium bottles and the mug press doesn't give enough pressure. Can anyone recommend what I need to pad it out or where I can get them from?

Thanks

You may need a different size mug heater element for your press. A thicker one.

Printer owners have the wraps or a silicon sheet of Ebay and cut to size.http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Non-Stick-Sil ... 8ugfOVUoBQ
