Hi

Could not find the answer anywhere, I have a Ricoh 3110 printer which I intend to use for a sublimation business I am about to start. I bought the refillable cartridges for it and sublimation ink but have just found out some disavantages of using sublimation ink: 1: polyester tees are more expensive then cotton tee, 2: sublimation can only be done in light color tees and I would like to sell black tees also; I was told that if I use Dye based ink instead of sublimation ink I can transfer to cotton and also datk color tees; The problem is i cannot find dye based ink for Ricoh printers, I found many for epson but not for ricoh. Could anyone enlight me or tell me where I can get dye based ink for my ricoh 3110? Many thanks

You need PIGMENT ink not dye for best print quality std ricoh ink is pigment.

Thanks, I have refillable cartridges once my original ricoh ink is finished will I find the pigment or dyebased ink to fill my refillable cartridges? The ones I found on internet says they are for epson only.

How are you intending getting the images onto the tees?

I think you have 2 similar threads running consecutively discussing this, might want to look at that :-)
