Hi everyone. I purchased a mug press from a company on Ebay just shy of 6 months ago. It was not expensive, however the heat element has started to break down. I contacted them and they say its a consumable part and not covered by waranty, and that I could purchase a new element from them. I don't want to purchase from him as his customer service is crap. Are all of the fittings standard, so if I bought a new heat wrap from someone else, would I just be able to attach to my machine, or are they different?

It's true, the element is considered to be a consumable, there may be an argument for reasonable use though.

You need to be a little careful as some use different pin outs but generally ok.
