Hi all I done my first phone case tonight only to find the colours are a bit off. I think I have everything set up correct so I'm wondering where I might have gone wrong.

I printed a Ducati motorcycle which is a vibrant red colour but the red and the blacks seem dull the black being more grey looking and the red just dull and flat.

Any ideas?

We'll need to know your setup, printer, inks, paper etc.

First port of call check your settings, profile.....secondly, check your printer, profile and then check again :-)

Sorry of course you do:redface:.
Im using a Ricoh SG3110dn with sawgrass subHD inks and I'm using photoshop as my edit software paper is sawgrass truepix.

This is where I'm getting lost I think with the profile settings. I have followed the directions from the sawgrass site to set up photoshop so I'm not sure what else to do.

Make sure you've set the printer up as per their guide. Are you using powerdriver? Best option.

As far as I know I have set this up as per there directions and yes I am using powerdriver.
So I gather I don't need another ICC if I'm using powerdriver?

Just had a thought. My printer, should it be set to a certain paper type as I've never gave this a thought until now.

Still Having issues tonight. I done my first mug tonight and again I don't think the colours or picture look correct.

I think I need somebody to talk me through the process of opening the image in photoshop including any edit work that gets done, right through to the printing.

I have been reading through the forum today and looking at other peoples work and I'm getting nothing near the same results. I notice that other peoples final jobs look very much like a picture where as mine look like they have been taken with a camera with a 0.3 megapixel camera with the colours to match.

As you all know this ink is not cheap and I don't want to keep wasting my ink and my blanks with such poor results. I just have this feeling im not doing something right.

Hi all I kind of need to get on top of this problem. I'm not getting a lot of time near my kit due to full time job but tonight my daughter asked me to do a mug for her. Well again the red has come out more pink than red.
I thought I would give something a try and that was to print through flexi cut rather than photoshop.
Well I certainly got more red than pink but the print quality was poor compared to photoshop.
I have attached some images.
