After more than a year, I finally found my mug press! It was nicely packed in a plastic box with the instructions :)

This is the press - anyone recognise it?

In the instructions it tells me to set the temperature to 230degF for mugs and much higher for aluminium water bottles - somewhere near 300 from memory.

When I switch the mug press on, the display reaches 150 and starts beeping. Press the Mode button and I can't raise the temperature any higher than 220deg. I'm left wondering whether my press is set to centigrade and not Fahrenheit!

If someone has any knowledge of this heat press, any instructions, advice or whatever, I'd like to hear from you :)

Cheers

John

It looks similar to mine so if it only adjusts to 220 it is in centigrade I'd try a mug at 180 and see how it goes'I'm not sure if yours is a manual start to the timer but mine has a micro switch on the lever.

Thanks for the reply and I'm sort of hoping you're right and it is displaying centigrade!

I have a suspicion the timer did start when I closed the press lever - something for me to confirm later.

If you have a manual in pdf or other e mailable format, I'd be very grateful for a copy :)

Cheers

John
