Just found this, many applications but the first one that came to mind was making box inserts for tablemats/coasters etc. Hopefully they will produce a machine that takes A3. No idea of material costs.

Interesting idea. Shame it has 12 months until the first release and those slots have gone so looking at Q3 in 2017. Might of moved onto something else by then.

They're pretty easy to make, you could probably put one together in an afternoon.
