We've just purchased 72 rhino mugs without realising the come box less. Does anyone want to part with some boxes or know a cheap place to get some from please? Just the basic cardboard ones.

Brilliant. Do you post with these? My smashproof boxes are 35p each roughly - want to try and reduce that!

These are gift boxes and not supportive enough for posting. For posting then we always use the smashproof ones from SubliBlanks which are 25p+vat for 100:

Superb mate, that's dropped my price by 5p for the boxes i am already using (getting them off Ebay at the moment)

My gift shops will be getting the cheaper boxes from now on unless they specifically ask for smashproof.

Cheers!

Yeah, never give smashproof ones away to retailers as it's a waste for sure. Every penny counts in this game hey!

Indeed!

I am two weeks into trading and have had a great start from the retail end but probably over-estimated my costs a little as i was expecting to get a lot more direct sales.

It sounds like a little how we started out. Selling direct means more profit but quite frankly one here and one there wastes a lot of time and competing on eBay is a joke nowadays. Selling bulk to trade (retailers) is the way to go. We personally have got a super array of local shops in our area (including tourist board) who stock our designs and highly recommend this route unless you have great exposure somewhere. Good luck!
