Came across this new product in the USA:

[h=3]Reveal-S Cotton Sublimation Film[/h]
It is a self weeding transfer film for use in sublimation printers. Apparently the sublimation ink infuses into the emulsion coating on the transfer paper and the emulsion then binds itself to the fabric of the garment.

I am wondering what it feels like and washes like. If it washes well and feels ok to the touch it may suitable for some bold graphical designs.

I went to pick up some stock from one of my local suppliers yesterday and he is the sole UK supplier for this product and hopes to have stock in next week and as soon as it arrives I will be trying it. Not going to be as cheap as other methods but could cost in in regards to time and ease of use..... all depends on the hand in my book and washability, would also allow me to get rid of two printers :rolleyes: more desk space....... now let me think what can I buy to put there.

its not available as yet I believe. Duo to formula was upgraded as many people failed when used it. I have a box full of it and will be doing video show soon.

I did try it already and I really like it. its very tricky to work with and need to be mastered, but once you cracked it you will be happy with results. Only down side is it only works with blocky colour images. so if you want to press photo or anything that contains gradients - you will fail.

Cheers Paul. I look forward to seeing your video when you have tried it.
I have just asked you the same question via your blog so please ignore that one. :redface:

Blacks wash out to dark brown in one or two washed and get progressively lighter very quick.

Paul does say that there has been some tweaking to the product. I have also had a quick google and the Conde site has a press release section which says about some issues now being resolved
