Hi Guys and Girls Great to see this place is still as informal as ever and that certain names are still very much involved.. Also great to see The subscription thing got off the ground Justin. I was just leaving as you were putting the idea out there.

Anyway I have now got my Mug oven and Heat press out of storage dusted it all down and thought I would start to dabble again. It was only put away because a wonderful opportunity in Melbourne Australia ..btw Sublimation over there isn't cheap....even with china on the door step.
So I have just bought a Epson Workforce WF-7110 DTW .....But I also have a Brother MFC-J6910DW so out of these 2 which would be the better option?.... I know the Brother is quite slow .. but it has the large capacity css cartridges fitted. The Epson is New and has a set of empty cartridges with it but they look terribly small capacity...

I am happy to swap them around for the work I do with normal printing as I have not put Sublimation ink in any of em at this time.... Thoughts welcome please.. Good to be back

Welcome back Mr Stranger. We've only been on here for just over a year and think Justin is a star for maintaining this forum.

epson with CISS system fitted all day long m8 - we have brothers 6910dw's ( now used only for invoicing / flyers ) and they are slow as hell printing per colour page compared to our epson 1500w, and colours are way more rich and vibrant with the epsons imho...but other people may not agree ;)

Thanks for the reply's both of you, Great to be back amongst such helpful folk.. Justin is a star indeed lol. Hi Bigj, Yeah I guess the benefits far outweigh the cons.. I was using epson before and eventually succumbed to all the usual blocked Nozzles etc. Was contemplating because the cartridges are seperate to the movement of the head... So painfully slow though for sure.. The epson always gave me sharp vibrant print outs.
