Evening all.

Just starting to build up my sublimation kit for doing some mugs for myself to give away for my other business.

So far, I'm reading reviews etc and hopefully buying some reasonable equipment for what I need. I have so far purchased a Ricoh 3110 with a set of new empty carts to put in the correct ink.

i see that the Bay of E have sublimation inks from a company called InkExpress called "SubliSharp" which they say are comparable to subli nova inks.

has anyone tried the InkExpress stuff and how would you rate it ?
Or would I be better getting a set of subli nova ?

cant really justify the expense of sawgrass carts but don't want to buy rubbish far eastern stuff and have the hassle of flushing and replacing bad inks.

Many thanks

Ray

Make sure they are specifically compatible with the Ricoh printers - Sublinova is not!

if you want to start on the right path with that printer, then get your money out and use Sawgrass

quick tip for ya bud....
DO NOT buy so called inks for ricoh from them...they do not work

where i got my first lot from and they said, yes, it 100% for ricoh.....er, banding, banding, banding...and more banding....
got other inks here from another supplier that i will need to get installed once i flush one of these ricohs out fully

save yer money fella and get inks from another source, not necessary saw-ripoff-grass inks, but ones that are proper gel inks for the ricoh, those 100% are not

I have used nature inks in the Ricoh with success and have just ordered another set as I gave up after Xmas and sold most of the kit, still made a small profit over 12 months though. An order for another 100 got me ordering kiut again, but I wouldn't do phone cases again as too many variants.

If you ever look at flat bed presses, be careful with the cheap eBay ones, no end bof troubles with the timer
