Hi there,
going to to buy a used Epson f6000 to do transfer printing onto stretch poly spandex. I have an iMac OS X El Capitan.
The seller doesn't have the RIP software.
Two questions:
1- can I buy used RIP software? Any ideas where I could buy and what I would need? I need it to be cheap cheap.
1- am I better to get a used Epson f6000 or a converted older Epson model? If so what model? I can use 24 or 44" but I thought 44" would speed up performance and use less paper.
thanks
claire

thanks ken. I'm actually supposed to be collecting the Epson f6000 tomorrow but my oil tank pin has stopped the oil getting to my house and so I have no heating. My partner will have to probably dig up the garden Tomo and therefore I wouldn't be able to go to Newcastle (I'll need to look after the Wee one.)mags1892;109977 wrote:Hello Claire I think weve discussed this recently. My lifes all over the place at the minute. I just wanted to make sure I was doing the right thing. I was going to use a demo of Shiraz carbon tomorrow to trial the printer.
thanks

Hope its a good price for you. Shiraz doesnt have a lot of control or colour management. Good luck either way.

thanks ken, all I know is shiraz carbon cheap at £600 and it'll allow me to print. Right now colour control is not something I know about. Cheap cost is my priority
