Hi Guys

I have a request for some work that requires a stupidly good printer. Ideally I am looking for something that can print 6-7pt text in negative form and be sharp, clean and crisp under a microscope. Imagine a 35mm slide that would project a sharp clean image from your printed text.

Most printers print a decent image that to the naked eye looks lovely, but as soon as you put it under a microscope you can see that its pretty poor.

I think a laser printer is probably the best option, but I am wondering if the techies on here will know more and can offer up any advice. I don't mind spending the money if it does what I need it to, but am drawing blanks each way I turn.

Help pretty please :-)

We just bought the new Canon IP8750 (inkjet) and the quality is breath taking. We use canon Luster paper as well (makes major difference) for printing A3 size artwork for framing. It is as good as artwork we use to get printed from printed.com Tip: PC World Business give 10% off which made it the cheapest available in the UK.

If I sent you some acetate and a few pennies would you print a sheet or two for me? Would be very interested to see what the highest quality prints look like from this printer.
