DSF

This is my first sublimation tag. What do I need to do different? The black houndstooth design and the vertical black/red stripes on the sides are vector. The image in the middle is a .jpeg copy/paste/imported. The black houndstooth is printed perfect both sides. Vertical stripes and image nowhere near perfect. Can anybody let me know what I need to change and do different. Thanks.

Temp: 400
Time: 45 sec
Pressure: 3

It looks to me that the pressure may not be even. The houndstooth looks a great black and has been released well from the paper but the middle still looks as though it has not been pressed either for long enough or not enough pressure.
You also don't mention if you have an ICC profile for your set up.

you might get some more advice if you join up. only £10 a year and well worth it.

No I do not have an ICC Profile. Where do I find the profile I need? The uneven pressure makes sense. Maybe changing to heavy pressure will do better. I would like to figure out my issue without wasting too substrates on test prints. I just started the sublimation thing. I've done vinyl graphics for years. Just trying out something new. I just printed a mouse pad and it came out perfect. It being thicker/softer and more pressure may have made that print work.

Please don't I am being rude but may I suggest you grab a large coffee and have a good look through the forum.
All the answers are here and the more you read the more you will come to understand how this sublimation game works.

Thanks but no thanks. I don't have hours and hours to sit here and read through hundreds of threads. I was looking for some quick help but evidently this forum is not for people looking for easy quick help. Looks like its for sublimation experts to chit chat with each other while drinking coffee. I joined this forum yesterday and I'm leaving it today. Thanks.
