I use the 1500w all the time and not had that problem! Could be the paper itself! Is it sub paper or ordinary paper?

Ah, that could be the problem, Trupix though should be alright. Some of the other papers can cause problems. It did when I was using a Photo 220, but ordinary paper doesn't!

doing the same with them.....and loading some of them offset with the trupix....
is there a setting in the software or something ?

the papers are sitting correct in the paper feed, both brackets snug fit to paper either side

man is this epson temperamental..(bit like my ex tbh)..phew, glad she gone..sorry, back on topic......
compared to the other espons we had over the yrs....

got it fixed....

our 1500 is on a raised part of one of the work desks....and the paper holder at the top was NOT fully extended backwards, it was more upright due to space...mainly the wall behind it

fixed that then....
because we pulled it out from the wall a tad, the front of printer came off the shelve, we put wee bit o cardboard to balance it out.....hell no...it was not liking that.

was jamming with the corners of the paper jamming on the print head...

took some farting about with bits o cardboard to get it just right...but got it

loading and printing perfect....

our other epsons didnt bother if the front end was slightly tipped down...but hey ho, if every new printer was the same, this job would be boring as hell LMAO

worthy note in case anyone else has this same problem

Speak nicely to your 1500w and it will be fine, NO do not pour that coffee over it, waste of coffee. If you need a new hammer, I have one!!!!!

I have on occasion used different sub papers in my Epson and after the first half a dozen sheets feeding fine, it misfed and just kept pulling paper through, sheet after sheet - incorrect loading or paper out. Filling the tray with Trupix first couple of attempts proved unsuccessful then back to normal - perfect every time. I would guess that some other paper types have a coating on them which comes off onto the Epson rollers or sensors and causes merry hell. Have always stuck with Trupix apart from when I cant get it and then its just a nightmare.

using trupix now....and they are fine 99% of time.
was using the dino papers and we really liked the depth or colours we got from it...
but if this is what we have to go through every day, to hell with using dino papers on main printer.

will keep them for the other stuff
