That was an expensive camera! Surely a decent video camera would have been better for you? If only they could combine a phone with a video camera in the same way they've combined a video camera with a camera ;-) LOL.

well... yes and no. i needed a new phone any way. half decent camera that shoot videos in descent quality would cost me about £400/£500 plus half descent glass to attach. i am talking about DSLR's here. i already have what supposed be a full HD camera and is crap in low light conditions. so i got my self iphone :)

Just remember to hold the darn thing horizontally - I can't stand all these video clips on TV shot on phones vertically so 2/3 of the TV screen remains unused! It just encourages the TV companies to use the extra space 'creatively' - eugh!

We got a griptight to mount an iPhone on a tripod and use the wired headphone lead as the remote switch to take photos https://joby.com

Surely you should be shooting in 4K now if not 16K  who still uses the old HD these days.

same here! when i see my wife holding her phone vertically it make me mad! I asking here every bloody time how she want to watch this after recording?!
one day she recorded most of my little girl school play in vertical position (!!!). I was MAAAD! :)
