After looking at the vinyl available for the craft robo and the pre cut sheets that can be purchased at 610 mm in length - surely it would be easier (and cheaper) to purchase 5m rolls of the said vinyl which are 610mm wide and cut them with a sharp knife to meet the craft robo specifications?
Does everyone else do this?

It's what I do. It also gives me the option of using a metre strip when I have a few to cut.
Best advice I can give if you go down that line, get yourself a proper cutting mat, saves loads of time measuring

I use a gulliotine, with lots of our designs saved in the robo on 500mm lengths any short bits I also use up with odd bits here n there. Very little vinyl goes to waste.
