Hi Everyone,

I'm Karl, 33 years old from Wales and I've been looking to start my own business now for about 2 years, I've been procrastinating and researching pretty much non stop in all that time. Too much competition here, too high a starting cost there it's been hard but Sublimation and related fields grabbed my attention a few weeks ago and I am eager to get stuck in. I know people talk here about the high levels of competition but I'm starting to realize that there is competition with everything.

I'm not expecting or looking to be a millionaire, I am realistic about things and a lot of hard work is no doubt in front of me. I currently have a full time job but I realized around 2 years ago that I am wasting my life and I don't really have skills or qualifications to move onto something else working for the man as they say. I want a complete change and will run my business part time to start.

I am going to do some online courses in photoshop, graphic design etc to learn as much as I can to help with designs and I will be setting up my home office/work station at the start of the new year so I will be learning as much as I can from you guys for the next couple of weeks and hopefully a lot longer.

good luck. yes definitely hard work ahead. but keep at it. takes about 2 years to get anywhere. always put customer service first. and they will return. go for the adobe software package £22 for everything. real good value. and attend trade shows as much as you can too learn new stuff and just see what is out there.
