Hi all,

Ive just purchased a flat press. Watching YouTube videos and they show different types at papers being used to protect the images etc. what are these called?

Is it like a grease proof paper?

You can buy packs of silicone paper in A4 and A3. You buy that from Yolo and other sublimation suppliers. You can also use Kraft paper. You can buy that in rolls on eBay.
I have read somewhere that you should not use standard grease proof paper. But I cannot remember the reason why.
Buthers paper is popular in the US but I have not found anywhere to buy it in the UK.

I use baking sheets. They come on a pre cut roll from any good supermarket. 16 sheets of 37x42cms for £1. I used 2 sheets for 50 T-Shirts.

Ive always used normal sublimation paper then cover with a baking sheet. Never had a problem.

Local place only has baking parchment on a 5m roll? Ive not bought it but is it the same stuff?
