After dipping in and out of this forum for the past few years I thought I should make myself legitimate and sign up :)
Spent all my working life firstly in the printing industry, then latterly in photography, managing a photo lab including overseeing the change from film to digital. Also set up sublimation printing for the company I was working for to print their images on a wide range of products. (A steep learning curve) Have spent far more hours than is good for anyone in front of computers using Photoshop and have still only scratched the surface! Now retired (joke) I have an ebay store selling sublimated phone cases, mugs, t shirts etc etc. Always looking for new ventures so went into t shirt transfers (The Wild Side and Art Brands) which sell steadily. Have a Silhouette Cameo with which I dabble in garment vinyl cutting and have just ordered an Oki C531dn laser printer to try some laser transfers as well as use it for leaflet inserts. I recently invested in the Sawgrass Virtuoso SG400 as my trusty Ricoh packed up, and so far it has been excellent.
Thank you for all the information I have gleaned from the 'outside' and now I am 'inside' I hope to be able to contribute to discussions and maybe pass on a little of the knowledge I have gained. That is, if at my advanced years I can remember any of it!
