Hi All,

Its good to be here. I have been subbing for a few yours on a part time basis, but recently had to give up my job of 27 years due to ill health ( im only 44 so consider myself still young ha ha ) and am looking to turn my sublimation "hobbie" into a full time business so I can work from home when my health permits.

I am based in Dundee and have a good selling market on Facebook in the local area and have a fantastic partner who taught me all she knows about sublimation so I can take over and she can focus on her embroidery business.

I love to learn, so I browse the forums for hints and tips on a regular basis an up till now, have taken more than I have given from the forums but I am happy to share my experiences with you all.

I love forums !!!!!

Last but certainly not least, I am a Dundee United supporter. I know, nobody is perfect.

Hi, I went through a similar thing when I was 35 and to be honest is the best thing that happened, started a business and never looked back. Obviously I would still rather be 100% fit and healthy but you make the best of what you have.
go for it and enjoy the freedom.
i started wanting a partime business for myself however we are now up to 9 staff and growing!!!!! Just go with the flow.
