Spent the weekend printing on all sorts of different metal shapes and came to a halt when I got to the unisub metal coated bookmarks.
It doesn't look like it has a protective coating, I have tried all my usual tricks to get the protective sheets off like putting against the heat press as I do with coasters to remove the plastic and it doesn't seem to be there.
Do they have a protective coating?
I've managed to chip the coating trying to see if there is plastic on it

Try printing onto the one you have chipped and you will find your answer! Olly

Yeah I thought of that but I only have two and it takes me about 2 weeks to get anything I order so would rather wait and see if anyone else has tried these.
Wish I could just pop down the road and get supplies.

I have emailed the supplier to see if they can help me. Hopefully they will know.

I can confirm that they don't have a plastic protective sheet and they turned out beautiful
