Hi all, I've recently purchased a 3 month old Epson wf 3010 which had been used on sublimation work from new. I did about 3 mugs and then the printer failed. It wouldn't power up. I contacted Epson as it was still under warrantee and they advised me to take it to a local express centre. Upon picking it up they had replaced it with a reconditioned unit. Upon getting home I realised it had been used for normal printing. I fitted new refillable sub inks and ran a test page. Nothing, well hardly anything out of any colours. I've tried the head cleaning but still nothing. Any ideas?

Could someone move this to printer problems please.

I did a few head cleans and got them spot on but still the lines. I have tried the "normal ink" and it's worked perfectly.

The he pic below is normal ink on top and sub ink on bottom.

Any my ideas on why this is happening please?

You can't change ink from pigement to sublimation without cleaning solution

Ok, well I have bought a new printer and I still have vertical lines. I know the original printer worked with these inks as I've had it working so there's no reason for this printer not to work the same. only thing that's different is the ink cartridges and the paper. Any ideas please guys as I'm really at my wits end now!!!

Have you removed the carriage plugs from the carts to let air in.
