General mug confusion!

Hi, I sell prints and a couple of other homeware bits and I'm hoping to branch out into mugs. I have bought a start up set and it's been going well but I'm really confused as to the best mugs to get. I got a box of Durham duraglazed with the startup kit but I'm hoping to find something a little less chunky, does anyone know if there are any straight sided mugs that feel a bit more premium? Also I'm really confused by what the best coating is and the difference between them all - duraglaze, orca etc. If anyone has any tips I'd very much appreciate them.
