Hi,
we buy in thousands of heat transfer in for a large on going job and I think it's time to buy a printer so we can make are own , I know very little about which printer would be best,it needs to print full colour so we can use for other job , not sure if this come under sublimation printer ?
any help please ?

If you are buying in the thousands I doubt you will get them done in house for the same price. The ones purchased are probably screen printed transfers which is the cheapest way to produce transfers. However it is a skilled process and I would recommend you continue to purchase from them.
That said, if you are hell bent on doing it house digitally then the only option (in my opinion) is a Roland Versacam print and cut machine. Avoid the BN20 as it will probably be too slow for your requirements (nothing wrong with it, just slow).
In terms of cost, transfer material for a dark garment is around the £6.50 per meter mark (750mm width) so about 72p per A4 ish plus application roll and ink.

They are screen printed as in pic, we pay about 60p per thousand but we do lots of other jobs this way,
we do have a m&r diamondback not sure if its worth doing on there what do you think ?
