I am about to start using my new printer and keep reading that I need to keep it powered on so it can perform its automatic maintenance. I won't be printing very often to start with and wondered if it be worthwhile getting a UPS?

We don't have many power outages, I'm more worried about powers flicking out and not being aware of this if I'm not here at the time or will printer turn itself back on when power returns? Or am I over thinking this?

Don't worry although it's best to leave them powered up it won't hurt them if they are turned off for quite long periods unlike epson printers.
