I've been doing a small amount of clothing decoration, sublimation (just looking to buy a new sub printer) and sign work for a while now but not really had the time to focus on it.
I've been using different programs and got myself confused and need to settle on one from the following... Vinylmaster.. Coreldraw...Illustrator.
I want to focus and make more of this business and ideally in the future I might be able to give up my other business (doing a job I hate....but it pays the bills)
Which software do you use and would you recommend it???????
thanks in advanced.

Difficult one to answer as every individual is different....
For my pennies worth I use Coreldraw. Only because I could never get my head round Macs and Illustrator (when they were mutually exclusive). Illustrator is just as good and some might argue better, but it really is whatever you are happy with.

I concur with social on this I would go for Corel. illustrator is a great program but expensive to buy and I would say is great if you are a graphic artist or the like but for the money you probably cant beat Corel I would think it would suit all your needs and is not such a difficult learning curve as illustrator. I know there are I or 2 other programs out there but I have went for Corel plenty of videos on YouTube and the like to help out.

I use Coreldraw as well. I use Photoshop for my work with photographers, but all "My" work if that makes sense is in corel.

I have an old copy, sshhhh don't tell, and I find it does fine for me. I also have a USCutter / Pcut vinyl cutter which I have found a plug in for so I can cut vinyl direct from Coreldraw.
Many thanks
