I'm new to the world of sublimation printing and have a issue with printing black. In that it keeps coming out blue. I printed some lanyards last night and they came out brilliant black was very rich then I went on to print some mugs and it was a whole different ball game when it came to printing black. My printer is set to high quality and matte paper. I'm using

Press:- Heatpress 8in1
http://m.alibaba.com/product/6002416351 ... directed=yPrinter:- Epson xp-322 with CISS fitted.
Ink:- Inktec sublinova smart
Paper:- subright 105gsm premium quality paper

what could be the possible solutions?

Thanks in advance

Do you have a specific icc profile?

No, I'v literally just started up. My first port of call was signing up here. I'm using GIMP to edit and create images as I'm trying to keep costs down to a minimum. Where would I be able to get one from. I did look on the Inktec website but I couldn't find a profile for my printer.

You'll need to get a custom icc profile made. You can contact Paul on the forum (same username) for this.

I'm not sure GIMP can use printer ICC profiles though.
